I wrote this some time ago... though not entirely relevant to Latino Heritage Month, still my best work with rhythm!
Inhibition
With jubilant expressions
Faced with tedious missions
Placed in uncomfortable positions
Summing up the various competition
Tired and drenched in wasted ambition
Independence dominating inconvenient additionsTaking on fictious propositions
Battling unsustainable visions
Circling in an endless repetition
Repeated starts with failed ignitions
Visible scars bleed enigmatic wishes
Smiling through noticeable tension
Oblivious of seething passion
Subconscious vengeful reactions
Disregarding innate undeniable affection
Completely unaware of deserved accreditation
Content through naive elation
Stepping stones of incomplete revelations
Leading to a process of liberation
Mild pauses to relieve temptation
Celebrating in bundles of sensations
Combination of erratic relations
Deceiving connotations
Robbing the mind's naive menial fixations
Don't expect any expectations...
